CENTURY TRAINING!

Once in a blue moon my fitness workout takes on a whole new twist! Last Saturday I worked out with my good friend Brian Thompson and his son Cullen Thompson and it was a leg workout.

The Goal was to do a 100 reps of every leg exercise that we normally do 5 to 6 sets of 12 to 20 reps with but the catch was if you stopped to take a rest while trying to knock out a 100 reps you had to add 5 more reps for every time you took a break. I call this type of training Century Training and let me tell you we were all crawling out of the gym last Saturday!

Matter of fact I’m still so sore that I’m having a hard time walking up the stairs and its been 4 days. Our leg workout started with squats, leg press, leg extensions, leg curls and 2 different exercises for calfs! We dropped down the weight on each exercise to 15 to 20% of our normal weight which we would do 15 to 20 reps. 


Try this for your lower as well as your upper body!
This is a great way to shock the body and really push up your endurance integrated with strength training.
By the way this is great for men as well as women!
