Robert Berger is a native Southern Californian and proud father of 4 girls, three of which are triplets. He is very passionate about kayak fishing in Malibu, enjoys traveling around the world, plays piano, and is a left-hander. Robert wrestled at Westlake High School, was a State champion at 168 pounds, and also wrestled at NYU for two years. Robert attended Northridge and studied Kinesiology. He is an NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) fitness trainer with all advanced credentials for over 25 years.
Robert’s certifications include: NASM, CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist), and CPT (Certified Personal Trainer). Robert has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 27 years and is nationally certified. He has taken over 10,000 hours in training in many modalities in massage therapy, with education from Santa Monica School of Massage, National Holistic Institute – San Jose Massage School, and Colorado Springs School of Massage.

CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist)
Corrective Exercise is one of the most important components of a comprehensive exercise program. Regardless of athletic ability or fitness level, almost every person has some degree of dysfunction that increases the chance for injury. This could include muscle imbalances, decreased flexibility, or lack of core and joint stability. Leading fitness professionals should be able to identify these dysfunctions and create an integrated corrective exercise training program to help their clients remain injury free.
PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist)
Sports Performance is one of the most demanding forms of training. The NASM Performance Enhancement Specialization (PES) will prepare you to work with athletes at any level from youth sports to professional athletes. With its foundation on the evidence-based OPTTM model, PES takes training to a higher level by introducing the Maximal Power phase. The advanced knowledge and skills gained from the PES program will help you improve client athletic performance including their power, speed, agility and quickness.
